Interior Designer, Patrice Munden received a Volunteer of the Year Award at the Metro St. Louis YWCA's Annual Volunteer Recognition Event on March 28th. The award is for her leading the renovation and re-design of the YWCA’s Women’s Transitional Housing’s Community Room in 2011.

Patrice led the Missouri-East Chapter of ASID and a team of local interior design students as they collected and installed new furniture, art, accessories and paint. All materials and furnishings were provided through donations from local businesses, organizations and residents.
