A new assisted living center in Ballwin's northeast corner could be completed before the end of 2011, a city representative said Wednesday.

City Administrator Bob Kuntz said the facility is part of a development under project manager Bill Biermann of W.B. Biermann Co. in Chesterfield.

"I think they are going to get it done before that," Kuntz said of a possible New Year's deadline for the project, which is located just southwest of Clayton Road and Henry Avenue, near the newly opened 6 North Café and Pulaski Bank. "I've been seeing about 12 people there with hard hats working like bees, so I think they're going to finish it before the year's over."
