Ballwin Man Charged With Third DWI Since 2008

St. Louis County Police pulled the man over on Big Bend Boulevard west of Kirkwood.

 

A Ballwin man now faces a third drunk driving charge after police pulled him over on Big Bend Boulevard in West County.

Cory Peeler, 22, of the 100 block of Ivy Court in Ballwin, was charged Jan. 9 with driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender, a class D felony.

St. Louis County Police said an officer pulled Peeler over at 1:45 a.m. Sept. 8 on Big Bend Boulevard near Lodgehill Driver west of Kirkwood.

Peeler also pleaded guilty to DWI in Ballwin Municipal Court in April 2011 and in Clarkson Valley Municipal Court in August 2008.

Peeler posted 10 percent of a $5,000 bond, and was to be fitted with a Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor (SCRAM) by Friday.

Sheer luck he hasn't hurt anyone...yet. This young man has forfeited many of his privileges with his behavior. He needs serious intervention...AND serious restriction of privileges.
