Ballwin Woman Confesses to Sex Acts with Infant Daughter

An article in The Riverfront Times calls Tessa Vanvlerah the 'World's Worst Mother.'

A woman from Ballwin pled guilty this week to charges of rape, sodomy and incest following allegations that she and an assistant college professor violated the woman's infant daughter.

Prosecutors say the woman, 22 year-old Tessa Vanvlerah of the 200 block of Solon Drive, also faces charges of producing child pornography, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported, as does former assistant college professor Kenneth M. Kyle, who Vanvlerah met online and has since been incarcerated on child sex abuse charges in California.

Law enforcement representatives said Kyle made five trips to Ballwin between 2009 and 2010 in which he and Vanvlerah sexually assaulted the child at various hotels around Westport, the report said, beginning when the child was five months old.

The FBI began investigating Kyle, 47, after identifying 100 pornographic images of children sent from his computer, the Post-Dispatch report said.

The Riverfront Times reports that in 2008, a woman from St. Louis convinced a judge to issue a restraining order against Vanvlerah based on claims that Vanvlerah seduced and had sex with the woman's 16 year-old son with autism. The report also claims Vanvlerah "bragged online" about having gotten pregnant from the affair:

Could it be, then, that her two-year-old daughter is the product of her molestation of the 16-year-old in 2008? The timing works out, as a child born in 2009 would be celebrating her third birthday in 2012.

The Riverfront Times report, published Tuesday, said the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's office did not immediately return a phone call seeking more information.

Vanvlerah is scheduled to be sentenced on March 15.
