Jennifer Samuels, 22, of Ballwin, sustained moderate injuries as the result of a one-car crash Monday on Interstate 55, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).

Samuels was travelling southbound on I-55 at Mile Marker 134.6 at 5:32 p.m. Monday when her 1999 Saturn SW2 ran off the left side of the roadway, struck the median cable and overturned, the MSHP report stated. The report didn't provide details about the crash, but indicated Samuels was wearing a seat belt.

Samuels was taken to Perry County Memorial Hospital for treatment for her injuries.
