Ballwin Woman Killed in Early Saturday Morning Crash

Brooke Bahmler, 24, died after her vehicle collided with a Jeep on Illinois Route 3 at Yellow Brick Road. Her sister, friend and another driver were injured in the accident as well.

A fatal crash early Saturday morning in Illionis has claimed the life of a Ballwin woman and injured her sister, best friend and another driver.

The accident occurred at 3 a.m. on Illinois Route 3 at Yellow Brick Road, according to a report in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, when a vehicle driven by Brooke Bahmler, 24, of the 100 block of Clear Meadows Drive, collided with a Jeep driven by Sharon Frison, 34, of St. Louis.

Bahmler was pronounced dead after being transported to Touchette Regional Medical Center. Her passengers, sister Abigail Bahmler, 22, and friend, Alexis Hoester, 23, of House Springs, Mo., were injured in the crash along with the driver of the other vehicle.

The Post-Dispatch reported that the incident is being investigating by the Sauget Police, who said it does not appear that alcohol played a role in the accident.

Terrible end to a young life. When I read 3AM I thought drunk driver. The STL article states that Ms. Bahmler did not drink and was acting as the designated driver.

David: I stated that as the above article did not mention she was a non drinker. My statement was to provided additional information from the STL Today article that was not presented here so others may not jump to an incorrect conclusion that I almost did. Not everyone would take the time to click the link to get that additional and important information.

Yeah, now I remember you. You posted about the Schnucks story stating FACT in every post and when I asked for your support for those "FACTS" you had changed your tune to they won't be avalable for 10 to 20 years or something of that nature.

Let me point out a recent post of yours; "David

This board is for our comments and thoughts. Maybe someone on here was bullied as a child or as an adult. Mike K, people like you speak with a keyboard. You would probably never say that face to face to me.......just saying.....".

You might want to reread your first sentence there. Not sure why you are trying to make a lot more out of my post than was there.
