Buybuy Baby in Ballwin had its grand opening Tuesday, marking the second location of the New York-based chain in Missouri.

Following the completion of the other location in Independence, MO, stores director Glen Cary said the chain was pleased to be expanding.

“We are excited to have opened our second store in Missouri and look forward to sharing our long standing traditions of exceptional customer service, great value and a broad assortment of merchandise with the Ballwin community,” Cary said in a written media statement.

Buybuy Baby, which was founded in 1996, sells an assortment merchandise for infants and toddlers including furniture, car seats, strollers, bedding and other items. The company was acquired by Bed Bath & Beyond in 2007 and to date operates more than 60 stores in the U.S.

Interesting. It seems like more and more retailers in the last few years are accepting their sister-stores' coupons. Anyone else notice anything special about buybuy Baby this week?
