The Fresh Mex chain closed its location in Ellisville this week, but got social media buzzing with disappointment and other Mexican restaurant suggestions.

Tami Gallagher: "This makes me sad :-("
Gary Deutschmann: "Just got a coupon from them today...Oh well guess we'll have to go to Olivette for Fajitas."

6 North Cafe: 1 Year Anniversary Book Signings
I stopped by for the 2nd part of 6 North Cafe's anniversary celebration, marking a year since the Cafe began its Saturday morning book signings with local authors. It was a pleasure to meet so many authors with different backgrounds but a shared creativity.
Lonnie Whitaker: "An excellent event at a great restaurant. Many thanks to the owners for sponsoring events..."
Maurice Parisien: "Great event this morning at 6th North Cafe in Ballwin. 1st Annual Authors Book Signing Event. Thanks Maria Altrudo for supporting our area authors."
Local Carrie Nenonen (@CDNinSTL) shared a recipe for Fall Harvest Oatmeal on her blog. I sure would like to try it! What are some of your autumn recipes?
Ken Newhouse (@KenNewhouseGOP), committeeman for the Wild Horse Township Republicans, tweeted results of a GOP poll fellow committee members conducted.
Bob Clark (@BobtheClark) mentioned @BalwinElisPatch asking about the new Schnucks on Kehrs Mill: "Is it true it's opening Spring 2018? Just kidding, but the project really does seem to be moving slowly, at least to me." See the latest construction additions and when it may open.
I asked what 5Ks you plan to participate in the next few weeks. Plenty to choose from! George Sackett said the Ellisville Warrior Run and Tami Gallagher chimed in with the Moonlight 5K. What about you?
