Christmas Tree Pick-Up Dates in Ellisville

The City of Ellisville is offering Christmas tree pick-up dates for live trees from this holiday season.
District 2 residents can have their trees picked up Jan. 9, 2013. District 3's day is Jan. 10, and District 1 is Jan. 11.
FOX2 shared these tips to prep your tree for pick-up and recycling drop-offs in St. Louis County:
- Remove ornaments, tinsel, lights and tree stand.
- Do not put the tree in a plastic bag or cover it.
- Wreaths and pine roping are not accepted at most sites.
Another tree recycling location for St. Louis County is at Creve Coeur Lake in Maryland Heights. Recycled tree parts will be used to help create a fish habitat at Busch Wildlife Conservation Area. Donations are accepted through Jan. 13.
