Deer Hunting Ordinance on Ballwin Board of Aldermen Agenda

Take a look at what's on the agenda for the Ballwin Board of Aldermen meeting Oct. 8.

An ordinance allowing private property owners to hunt for deer is up for a Ballwin Board of Aldermen decision at their meeting Oct. 8.

The ordinance, granting property owners with an acre or more of land the ability to bowhunt for deer during deer season after meeting specific criteria, has been long in the works in partnership with Ellisville. Ellisville's legislation is in the draft process.

As Patch previously reported, Ballwin has been using the Creve Coeur legislation as a guide, voting to mimic it in their own ordinance. View the full text and description of what will be voted on Monday.

The Ballwin Board of Aldermen will meet Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. in the Ballwin Police and Courts Center.
