The discount retailer Dollar Tree is now open for business in Ellisville.

The store opened Thursday, marking the chain's newest location in West St. Louis County. Dollar Tree also has a location at 13932 Manchester Rd. east of Route 141 near Manchester.

“Dollar Tree continues to grow and is proud to be part of the Ellisville community,” company spokesperson Chelle Davis said in a news release. “Our stores are open seven days a week and offer a fast, fun, and friendly shopping experience.”

The roughly 7,500 square foot is located at 1342 Clarkson Drive. The space contains merchandise ranging from floral and harvest candles to dinnerware and party supplies, along with assortment of household goods.

Headquartered in Chesapeake, VA, Dollar Tree has been in operation for 25 years and presently is listed as a Fortune 500 Company. Dollar Tree operates more than 4,000 stores in the continental U.S.
