Ellisville Plaza's Newest Addition: You Choose
In order to better serve our cities, Ballwin-Ellisville Patch asks what readers would like to see in the vacant space formerly occupied by Sherwin-Williams in Ellisville.
Have you ever passed a vacant storefront and hoped a particular type of business would one day move in, or driven by a vacant lot and had a great idea for how the space could be better used? If the answer is yes, you've come to the right place.
The space at 15420 Manchester Road in Ellisville previously was home to Sherwin-Williams, but the paint store has since left. With rental signs still affixed to the storefront, Ballwin-Ellisville Patch presents this simple question to readers: If you could turn the store into any business or destination possible, what would it be?
A particular shop? A service center? A special destination for tasty treats? Whatever your fancy, tell us in the comments section below and let the community know!

Gallery filled by work of local artists - "Best of Missouri Hands" kind of work (jury level, not "crafts"). Oil, acrylic, mixed media, fiber, metal, etc. Monthly events/openings. Trunk shows. We don't have this type of arts access in Ellisville. Could be something special.

They already have that sort of art space at Chesterfield Mall.

I Would like to see a Half Price Books at that location. With that frontage along Manchester I am surprised its still available.

I like the art gallery idea, too. Something on the lines of Art Trendz in the valley. Or a small store selling new and used furniture--reasonably priced but unique and not mass produced pieces.

@C Panter...I was thinking more of a gallery venue in which small events/weddings/parties could be catered (i.e. not a mall environment). I visit these places in other cities, would be nice to have this option here.
