These Ellisville Residents are certainly within their right to file a lawsuit, but we all know it is a waste of time and money. Meanwhile the property suit sits vacant like a boil on the butt of Ellisville. We certainly don't have any other options to develop the property now, do we?

The so-called "vacant" property has 25 buildings with 100 units of inhabited rental apartments.

What is this 'we' nonsense, little mike k?
Why do you care, since you are a Ladue resident (per your posts in other patches)?

And all this will do is trade one empty lot for another when Kmart packs it in, except we taxpayers will be stuck with all of the new welfare and Medicaid that new Walmart brings with it, along with lots of part-time low wage jobs, few living wage management jobs, and all corporate profits going back to Bentonville, AR and shareholders, not the local community.

Look at all of the vacant buildings along Manchester and the rest of the City of Ellisville. So what if it is low paying jobs, its a job. The apartments are mostly section 8. We could move them to Ladue but the Ladue City council wouldn't have it. When Ellisville runs out of tax money we should sue the mayor and the one alderwoman. WalMart brought a boom to The City of Manchester People that don't know the facts usually have a lawyer for a friend that needs some more money

You might want to get your facts straight before you spout off with an ill-informed opinion.

>>>The apartments are mostly section 8.<<<

Clarkchester Apts. are not Section 8.

>>>People that don't know the facts...<<<

Yes. People just like you.
