Food Fight: St. Clare Church Takes Tops in West County Fish Fry Poll
The Ballwin Catholic church got the support of most readers in our Lenten season fish fry battle.
St. Clare of Assisi in Ballwin was the big winner this week's in our West County Food Fight, in which we asked Patch users for their favorite place for a fish fry in the area. It won with 72 percent of the votes cast in our weekly Food Fight poll.
While it was the overwhelming winner, the other three nominees had their supporters as well Most Sacred Heart Church in Eureka had 20 percent of the votes cast. Holy Infant Church in Ballwin and Lazy River Grill in Ballwin both received 3 percent.

Voting took place from Thursday morning through Friday at 5 p.m. The West St. Louis County Patch sites include Eureka-Wildwood, Town and Country-Manchester, Ballwin-Ellisville, Chesterfield and Creve Coeur.

Hmmmm . . . Disgusting!? Hard to believe a fish fry THAT bad would receive 72 percent of the vote. Obviously many, many people disagree with you Charyl.

What I fail to understand is how Lazy River Grill qualifies as a fish fry! It is a restaurant that happens to serve fish...Not the same thing.
