Actually, the VFW Hall in Ballwin has the best fish in West County...but St. Clare of Assisi is a very close 2nd.

Good to know, Karen! We tried St Clare last Friday and want to try the VFW this week. We're new to the area and can't live without a good fish fry. Thanks for your comment!

Most Sacred Heart Eureka is the 'fish fry' mecca of St. Louis serving dine-in, carry-out, and a special "Reserved Seating Hall" We serve a meal every 4.7 seconds for three solid hours and provide a huge selection of homemade desserts. There is always a line, but it is worth the wait.

Wow, Vicki, a meal served every 5 seconds—that's faster than fast food restaurants! Impressive.
