Man Threatens Ballwin Officer With Machete, Police Say
Police were able to arrest the man, who kicked a cage and banged his head against a door inside a patrol car, causing damage.
A man threatened a Ballwin officer with a machete Wednesday in the 700 block of Dutch Mill Road, police said.
Ballwin Police said they received a 911 call from the home in which the caller told a dispatcher, “We need police here now,” and then hung up the phone.
When police arrived, they heard screaming inside the Ballwin home. Brandon Wilinski, 21, opened the door holding a machete and screamed at the officers. He told them to get out or he would kill them.
Police said in a report that they eventually detained Wilinski and placed him inside a patrol car. An officer said Wilinski kicked the cage and hit a door repeatedly with his head, causing $480 in damages.
Wilinski was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault on a law enforcement officer, armed criminal action and second-degree property damage.
He was being held Saturday in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $25,000, cash only.

Yea he probably couldn't handle how abusive & cruel his grandfather was for no reason. The old saying "don't judge people until your in their shoes" yea, that's how it is with him. Brandon was a great person, so intelligent, and a big heart who was broken down repeatedly by the only family he had.
