Parkway South lost 7-3 to Rockwood Summit in Tuesday night's game, giving the Falcons their first sectional title, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Parkway South managed to connect for only five hits, three of which occurred in the first inning, followed by four double-plays by the Falcon's defense for an impressive Rockwood Summit win, the paper said.

"Summit did a great job squaring balls up," Parkway South coach Adam Stahl told the Post-Dispatch. "They just outplayed us today. The biggest thing is that we fell behind, and they capitalized on it."
