PHOTOS: Schnucks at Kehrs Mill Construction Update
Construction keeps trucking at the new Schnucks location at Kehrs Mill and Clarkson Road.
With the opening date continuing to be pushed back, construction proceeds on the new "boutique" Schnucks at the corner of Kehrs Mill and Clarkson Road.
Jonathan Dirksen, senior personnel specialist for Schnucks, told Patch the location is still hiring and hosting open interviews this coming week at the current Ballwin and Chesterfield locations.
Dirksen added the opening date is not affirmed, but that it will be "at least another month."
These photos of construction progress were shot Sept. 27.

What a shame, boutique certainly has a differant meaning to some it appears. I believe that the records indicate that the city attorney for Ballwin was at the same time doing work for Schnucks, this in his mind was not a conflict of interest, and he failed to advise the board of alderman I have been told. Now another case is coming up, this time the lot on Kehrs Mill Road behind the Target Store. The Ballwin city attorney was involved in a partition suit regarding this property, and now will be sitting on the P&Z meeting deciding how to change it. The Citizens should attend the October 1st P&Z meeting and ask if this is a conflict of interest to be advising the city on property that he was previously involved with. The property could be rezoned from its present to multi family, But maybe they would be boutique multifamily units so everything would be for the betterment of the surrounding property owners?

Thanks for sharing, Ron. I actually just called to check, and the Planning and Zoning Commission will not meet until November. They said the petition was just withdrawn. I'll keep checking in!
