Police Blotter: Suspect Swipes Smoking Suppressants
The crime report for Ballwin and Ellisville for October 2010.
ELLISVILLE
BURGLARY: Sometime between 12:45 p.m. on Oct. 15 and 10:30 p.m. on Oct 24, one or more suspects entered the Pizzarelli's Pizzeria at 15858 Manchester Road and took an undisclosed amount of money. No forced entry was found.
STEALING/UNDER $500: Around 7:05 p.m. on Nov. 1, police report that a man stole a package of Nicorette lozenges valued at $60 from the shelf behind the register counter at the Walgreens located at 16105 Manchester Road. The suspect is a white male approximately 25 years old, with short, wavy blonde hair and a full beard. The suspect was wearing a camouflage "hoody" sweatshirt and baggy jeans at the time of the alleged larceny.
BALLWIN
BURGLARY: Residents of a home located on the 100 block of Sweetwood Court reported a break-in to Ballwin police that occurred Oct. 28. The victim said she arrived home that Thursday afternoon to discover that her back door was open, and that several of her belongings were stolen. Among the missing items were two laptops, a 37-inch television, an Apple iPod Touch and a Nintendo Wii video game console. The victim believes the incident occurred during the afternoon hours while she was away.
THEFT: Police believe that personal possessions were taken from a car parked on the 200 block of Village Creek Court on Oct. 29. The victim said he had left his vehicle unlocked overnight and discovered items were missing in the morning. Among them were MP3 players, sunglasses and DVDs. The items were valued at more than $1,000.
THEFT: A resident of the 200 block of Wildbrier Drive reported multiple personal items stolen from his car on Oct. 30. The victim said he left his vehicle unlocked during the overnight hours, and later found that a GPS navigation unit, a cell phone and a Gerber pocket knife were taken. The items were valued at $425.
