Police: Teen Forcibly Sodomized Woman As Friend Guarded Door

Witnesses outside the room heard the victim yelling but were prevented from going to her aid.

A 19-year-old Ballwin man faces a criminal charge after St. Louis County Police said he sexually touched a woman while holding her down Monday in unincorporated St. Louis County in the area of Olive and Lindbergh boulevards.

Kevin O’Shaughnessy, of the 200 block of Spring Oaks Drive in Ballwin, was charged Wednesday with forcible sodomy - deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion.

St. Louis County Police said witnesses outside the room heard the victim yelling, “Stop,” but O’Shaughnessy’s friend stood outside the room’s door and prevented them from going to her aid.

O’Shaughnessy is being held in the St. Louis County on a $50,000 bond.

There are no co-defendants in the case at this time.

If you're over 18 you are an adult and this is a man..... please don't refer to him as a teen. This is no 13-14 year old.............. This is a serious crime and it shouldnt be down played by calling him a "teen"

Exactly why is the friend who barred the door not charged...or charged yet? They are both menaces.

I tried to see if charges are being considered for the person guarding the door. The word I got was that the Prosecuting Attorney's Office does not comment on charges it is considering. So, it doesn't mean that the other person will not be charged. It just means that charges have not been filed. I've seen charges filed up to 6-7 months after an incident. Sometimes it takes them a while to settle on appropriate charges that prosecutors believe they can get a conviction on. I'm not suggesting it will take that long for this case -- or even that charges will be filed at all.

I've known Kevin for years & it doesn't surprise me one bit he would do something like this. Just another step up from beating his girlfriend unconscious. I always knew his alcoholism would contribute to him going to prison. Didn't think he would rape someone but obviously I was wrong.

Everyone knows the accomplice. I hope he goes down just as bad as kevin. His sentence should involve being held down and raped repeatedly for the rest of his pathetic life.

You won't have to worry about that, he will have the experience of becoming someone's girlfriend in prison. They will show him the "SOCIAL GRACIOUS OF BEING IN PRISON," He will be schooled very properly for many days to come. Don't forget the K Y and learn to sing the BLUES.

Because he's not been charged with a crime, I do not have the accomplice's name. Sorry, but for those of you who believe you know who the person is, for legal reasons Patch cannot allow posts that name a person even if it's correct.

And this has nothing to do with his ex girlfriend she's getting upset her name was brought up what happen in the past does not change what happened that night with this young girl. The past is the past the bigger issue here is getting justice for the victim

you know what, I have known Kevin for years. He comes from a good family and did not grow up with a stable father figure. No this is not an excuse, but Kevin dealt with some internal issues with drinking and made bad decisions. He is a confused man and needs some guidance. But before you trash him or throw his picture up on facebook so he can be ripped apart by his classmates, please remember that he has a family and they read what you write too. What he did was terrible but haven't we all done something in the past we regret? Maybe it wasn't bad enough to land us in jail, but don't throw stones.

Nobody barred the door! A party full of young adolescents... people saying they heard her say "stop" when the music is blaring and a bunch of young kids in the house. Yea right! Where were the parents? If the mother was home, as she was supposedly, she should be charged with child endangerment. Her 16 year old daughter was DRUNK. What about all these new charges to the parents hosting parties like this? Why did nobody step past this 'accomplice" and help her? Because there was nothing going. Was this accomplice just standing near the hallway as there was no place to sit? You can't tell me the that standing there partying with other teens make the accomplice accountable for whatever happened. Kevin is probably a creep but who knows. A 16 year old drunk adolescent is not good either. Neither is the mother for allowing a party period.

I'd like to know what the mother was doing upstairs while her daughter was down stairs getting intoxicated. Also why did the mother let these older teens in to her home with her daughter???? What kind of parent does this???
