Police: Victims Leave Out iPhone, Other Valuables, Thieves Take Them

What did we learn from today's Ellisville police report?

 

What did your mother tell you? Put your toys away, remember? Today's Ellisville police report shows us what happens when you leave your valuables out for anyone to see.

Aug. 13

Sometime between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., someone stole an iPhone 4 the owner had laid down while working out at the Lifetime Fitness Center at 3058 Clarkson Road. Valued at $400.

Aug. 18

Sometime between 10:19 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Aug. 19, someone stole an MP3 player and 20 compact discs, cash and cigarettes from two vehicles that were parked in the driveway of a residence located in the 40 block of East Meadow.  Valued at $249.
