Fresh cut Christmas trees are available right around the corner:  Scouts honor, literally!

The tree lot at 15599 Manchester Road is being managed by Boy Scout Troop 782. All profits from the lot benefit the scouts' events and equipment needs. The lot is conveniently located 1/2 mile east of Clarkson, on the north side of Manchester, near St. John's Lutheran School.

Tree varieties offered at the lot include Fraser Firs, Balsam Firs, White Pines and Scotch Pines. They also have wreaths, roping, swags and tree bags for disposal.

Each tree is marked with its price, but the figures range from $32 to $240. Daintier tabletop trees are $16.

Hours of this tree lot are Monday through Thursday 5-8 p.m.; Friday 5-9 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
