Schnucks, When's the Summer Opening Of 'Boutique' Store?
Some of the parking lot is paved, and some windows are in place.
For the week of Aug. 6-10, Schnucks has put in green sod along the 10-foot tall fence bordering residents' yards, curbs along paved parking lots, and glass in windows.
The interior still looked dark from a distance.

They will never have community support, FACT. The poor innocent home owners that live near this eyesore that deminished thier property values will not shop there. Why would they?

Why do you keep referring to this blatantly grotesque mutation of grocery store as "boutique", even in "quotes"? There is nothing boutique about it. It's big enough to be an opera house or theater. They could sing "Poguey and Bess " for the grand opening. That would be appropriate. Or, for the kids, a theater troupe could perform " The Three Little Pogues"

Just like the Walmart in Ellisville....why don't these city councils listen to their residents!! Aghhhhhhhh!

My guess would be greed. Personal gain. Feeding on their own citizens like vampirous ( is that a word?) politcal vermin.
But that would just be my guess.
