Ellisville families learned about safety at Kid's Safety Day in a fun, carnival-like environment Saturday. The event, held at St. John's Lutheran Church Saturday, was hosted by Ellisville Police Department.

Parents had their kids' car seats inspected for proper installation and kids had their bike helmets fitted. They also got to explore an ambulance, fire truck and mobile command center, and watch a demonstration by an Ellisville Police canine unit. There were prizes given away all day and plenty of games to play as well.
