Woman Charged For Using Stun Gun on Ex-Boyfriend

Claire Canon, 18, faces charges of assault and burglary in the Dec. 30 incident.

A man from Ballwin and a Chesterfield woman have been charged in St. Louis County Circuit Court for an attack on the woman's ex-boyfriend late last year.

Claire Canon, 18, has been charged with burglary and assault in the attack. Bret Lombardo, 22, of Ballwin, also has been charged in connection with the incident.

"It's not like a Taser, where you shoot out something," Lewis said. "It's a stun gun, which you touch to somebody and pull a trigger.Β  It sends an electric pulse through the person."

The victim fell to the ground, but was able to stand and run out of the house as three men in ski masks approached him. The men chased him down, Lewis said, and beat him up in the street. Lewis said the victim has scrapes and bruises, but wasn't seriously injured. "He refused medical treatment," he said.
