The Ballwin Race Series gets scary with this trail run at Castlewood State Park. Participants must reach each checkpoint on the map while avoiding being caught by zombies! Each partcipant is given a lifeline (flag football flag). Should that life be taken by a zombie, a time penalty will be assessed. Participants will be given a map with the checkpoint locations. Any route may be taken to the checkpoints before returning to the finish. ATTENTION ASPIRING ZOMBIES! WE ARE RECRUITING VOLUNTEER ZOMBIES FOR THIS EVENT. CONTACT MATT AT matt.struemph@ballwin.mo.us.

More About Castlewood State Park
Castlewood State Park is a beautiful park with hiking trails throughout, including a hike to the top of the bluffs for a scenic view of the area. The Meramec River runs through the park with a boat access ramp and several beach-like areas for wading in the shallower parts of the river. It is a peaceful retreat with fishing, picnic areas, hiking and mountain bike trails.
