News/Talk Show is #1 in March Ratings Period

KFTK’s “Allman in the Morning” show with Host Jamie Allman has captured the top ratings slot in the latest Arbitron radio ratings covering March 2013. Allman’s show was the top rated news/talk show during the morning drive time, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., Monday through Friday, among adults 25-54 in the St. Louis metro area.

Allman began hosting the conservative talk show in 2005. A former television investigative and political reporter, he has won 15 Emmys and multiple Edward R. Murrow Awards and was voted best radio host by the Missouri Broadcasters Association in 2006 and 2008. Allman has also written for Tucker Carlson's Daily Caller and for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as an op-ed columnist.

KFTK-FM (97.1 FM) is owned and operated by Emmis Communications, a diversified media company with radio broadcasting, television broadcasting, and magazine publishing operations. Emmis owns radio stations in Los Angeles, New York, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Terre Haute, and Austin. In addition to KFTK-FM 97.1, its St. Louis stations include K-HITS 96, KSHE-95 and 105.7 The Point.
