One of our employees, Debbie Kline, has a daughter who was diagnosed with T1D (type 1 diabetes) on December 18, 2008, at age four. Since our business really revolves around children and young adults, I suggested that we host a Carnival to raise money for JDRF (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

Dr. Hough immediately agreed! Our first Carnival for a Cause (Saturday, September 14, 2013) will give us the opportunity to do something for our patients while bringing our community together for fun and a great cause.
Carnival for a Cause will be held at our office (673 Big Bend Blvd., Manchester, MO 63021) from 1-5 PM. The cost is $5 per person at the door and this includes snacks and family fun games and activities like a rock climbing wall, obstacle courses, basketball, carnival games, slides, bounce houses, and of course, a dunk tank to Dunk the Doctor for an additional $1 donation.
We’ll also have a raffle and gift baskets for moms, dads, kids, and pets! The Manchester business community has been very generous so that 100% of the money raised will be going to JDRF. We invite everyone to our Carnival on Saturday, September 14th!!!
