Ballwin Toddler, Family Honored Monday

Kyndall Brown of Ballwin, who died when she was 17 months old, was among those honored at the Tournament of Roses parade Monday.

Artwork honoring people who made sacrifies as organ donors was on display nationally at the Tournament of Roses Parade on Monday.

Floral arrangements called floragraphs decorated the "Donate Life" float, made in conjunction with Mid-America Transplant Services, which displayed images of organ donors along with decorations created by their friends and families.

Among those portrayed was Kyndall Brown, who died at 17 months-old in 2003 due to a household accident while the toddler was being babysat. The girl's parents, Ballwin residents Broc Brown and Jennifer Brown, opted in favor of organ donation, which helped a young girl from Iceland receive a needed liver transplant. The Browns also have three sons, Braden, Gabe and Kynan, two of whom attend .
