BRIEF: Dog Park Committee Meets Tuesday

Volunteers and committee members who want to support Ellisville's efforts for a dog park are scheduled to meet Tuesday evening.

Manpower. Dogpower. Call it what you like. But if you're interested in contributing a labor of love aimed at the dog or doglover in your life, then Ellisville wants your help.

An informal committee pushing for the construction of a dog park in Ellisville, likely within Bluebird Park, is scheduled to meet at the at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. City Alderman Linda Reel estimated the to be around $20,000, which will be paid for through donations and fundraisers such as the "Ellisville Pooch Plunge" swim event in September.
