Businessweek Names Ballwin Best Place to Raise Kids in Missouri

Ballwin was named the Best Place to Raise Kids in Missouri for 2013 by Bloomberg Businessweek this week. 

Businessweek chose one city from each state for the category, crediting the Pointe at Ballwin Commons recreational center, location near other activities and opportunities to hunt nearby.

"I was thrilled to find out that Ballwin once again was recognized by a national magazine," said Ballwin Mayor Tim Pogue. "Our entire staff should be proud for receiving this type of recognition."

The Pointe features two gymnasiums, exercise and weightlifting equipment, kids play area and babysitting room, an indoor pool, and an outdoor pool facility at North Pointe.

"I feel that the opportunities for kids is outstanding in Ballwin," Pogue told Patch. "We offer everything a kid could dream of from the North Pointe, our parks and even golf. I also believe that having two of the best school districts in the state completes the package."
