How to Blog on Ballwin-Ellisville Patch

Become a Patch blogger in five easy steps.

So you want to blog for Patch? Here’s how to do it in five easy steps:

  1. Decide what you might like to write about. We're looking for people who want to share their area of "expertise" with their neighbors in Ellisville or Ballwin. Maybe you'd like to keep neighbors updated on your school. Perhaps you'd like to weigh in on local politics. If you like to garden, enjoy watching Cardinals, read lots of books or are a business owner, we'd love to talk to you.
  2. Create an account. Head to Ballwin-Ellisville Patch and click “Join” in the upper right corner. You’ll enter your name, an email address and a password, or you can join with your Facebook account. Then fill out your profile and upload a picture and describe yourself so readers know a little about you.
  3. Tell your editor! Go to our Blog on Patch page and tell Ballwin-Ellisville Patch editor Chase Castle in a sentence or two what your blog would be about. There are no limits on the topics you can blog about, and don't feel obliged to stick to just one topic!
  4. Wait! But not for long. Chase will approve your request and send you an email with all you need to know.
  5. Blog. Once you are approved, you'll have access to Blog Central.

It's that easy. We can't wait to hear what you have to say.

If you can't wait to share your stories, remember you can always submit a photo, video, announcement or event on our sites for free.
