Volunteer Opportunities: Set Building, Habitat for Humanity

Help with Equine Assisted Therapy

Volunteers are needed to serve as sidewalkers by walking besides riders and helping them do activities in classes and keeping children safe. There are two locations, one at Longview Farm Park, 13525 Clayton Rd, Town & Country and another at 3369 Highway 109, in Wildwood. Please contact 314-971-0605 to volunteer.

Act Two Theater in St. Peters invites anyone with an interest in building the set for Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street to help on Saturday, Oct. 13. Please visit the website and click the link for volunteers to tell them where your talents lie, be it using power tools to construct, painting, or sweeping the stage when they are finished.

St. Charles Habitat for Humanity ReStore

St. Charles Home and Remodeling Show will be Oct. 11-14 and volunteers are needed throughout the event. Help Adults with In-Home Money Management 

Lutheran Senior Services Volunteer Money Management seeks volunteers 21 years and older to provide individualized, in-home money management assistance to older adults 60 years and older or adults 50 years and older with a disability living North of Highway 40 in St. Louis city and St. Louis county. Volunteers help sort, organize, and record monthly bills and statements, reconcile monthly bank statements, and balance checkbooks. They also write checks for monthly bills with the client present. Clients sign their own checks. Volunteers can choose what areas they would like to travel to. Call 314-446-2474 for more information. 

Race Volunteers Needed.

The 2012 Race To Cure Lymphoma 5k/10k is seeking volunteers for the annual event, happening Oct. 6 at St. Louis Mills in Hazelwood, MO. Opportunities include helping with packet pickup, registration tent, start/finish line crews, food tent staff, set-up and breakdown, balloon tent and more. Pedal the Cause Needs Volunteers

Pedal the Cause is looking for a dedicated group of volunteers for pre-event needs, for the kickoff celebration and for the day of the bike ride. Volunteers can help with registration, start and finish line set up and break down, food and beverage assistant, information booth, aid station volunteer, course marshall. For a complete list of volunteer opportunities, please visit this website.
