Zombies Attack in Ballwin for Trail Run
The inaugural Zombie Chase Trail Run in Castlewood State Park proved to be a fun time for humans and zombies alike.
That's right: zombies attacked Castlewood State Park. Well, for a morning, at least.
The Zombie Chase Trail Run Oct. 20 drew out 80 participants, the first race of its kind in Ballwin. "Zombies" -- actually students from Marquette, Parkway South and Lafayette high schools with an undead finesse -- haunted the trails of Castlewood State Park, chasing the runners in the hunt.
The next event in the Ballwin Race Series is the Midnight Howl 5k Nov. 9.
