POSTPONED: 4th of July Community Celebration at St. John Church

Fourth of July Update

Due to the drought conditions, The City of Ellisville has postponed their Fourth of July celebration and fireworks display. And while hanging out with friends and family is great fun, the point of the 4th of July is the fireworks display!  St. John Church has decided to join with The City of Ellisville and is postponing our celebration, too.

So, what's next?  We still want to come together and support Circle of  Concern and help provide summer lunch foods to the kids in our local community.  On the weekend of July 7 & 8, we will collect peanut butter, jelly, and canned pastas.  Please bring these items with you that weekend or drop them off at the Ministry Center during the week of July 1.

And, we will celebrate--but later!  Plans are already being formed for a great way for families to come together later this Summer or early this Fall.  So, stay tuned for more on how St. John Church plans to reach out into the community for an evening of fun!
