Ellisville Sponsors 'Howl-oween' Canine Costume Contest

Editor's Note: The following event posting is courtesy of the Ellisville Parks & Recreation Department:

Ghoulish Greyhounds and Devilish Dachshunds, Poodle Princesses and Butterfly Bulldogs, whatever the costume, we want to see your dressed-up dogs!

Categories will be Best Costume, Best Doggie/Owner Combo, Most Original Costume, and Spookiest. 3 winners will be chosen from each category.  1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place. Pre-registration is required.  To register, please return the official entry form with payment to the Ellisville Parks Department, 225 Kiefer Creek Road, Ellisville, MO  63021. Proceeds will benefit the Ellisville Dog Park planned for Bluebird Park!

All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and must be up-to-date on shots.  All handlers must bring a copy of current vet’s rabies vaccination record for each dog entered. 

Date:                Saturday, October 29
Time:                10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Fee:                  $7.00 per dog or $10.00 dog/owner combo
Location:           Bluebird Park Tennis Courts.  If inclement weather should occur, we will meet at the Parks Administration Building.
