Parkway Receives Highest 2013 Report Card Scores in Missouri

The Parkway School District reportedly received the highest score in the state for large districts and the second highest score in the state overall.

The following information was provided by the Parkway School District in a news release. 

The grades are in, and Parkway Schools received the highest score in Missouri for large districts and the second highest score in the state overall.

Parkway earned 99.6 percent -- nearly a perfect score – on the 2013 report card released today by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Of the 448 K-12 districts in Missouri, Parkway's score ranked second highest overall and the highest for districts with more than 1,000 students.

The MSIP 5 ratings system is based on factors including standardized test scores, attendance, graduation rates, subgroup performance and college placement. The new system allows for greater distinction between school districts and looks at a broader range of performance standards.
