Appliance Discounters Store Open in Ballwin Off Manchester Road

This West County store is the fourth St. Louis area location for Appliance Discounters. There is also one in Webster Groves.

Appliance Discounters opened its fourth St. Louis location this month off Manchester Road in Ballwin. Located at 15425 Manchester Rd., the store sits in Ballwin Plaza.

Owners Denise Bradley and Tony Slyman are brother and sister. They've been in business for three-and-a-half years in the St. Louis area.

A ribbon cutting was held last week to officially welcome the store to West County.

This new location is in addition to the company's Webster Groves, St. Charles and Arnold locations. Bradley tells Patch this new location is close to their homes and a strategic move.

"We were kind of at every area in St. Louis and we felt like we had to come out here," Bradley explained. "We just wanted to be out here because it's the right geographic area."

The store offers a selection of brand new appliances from leading manufactures and a knowledgeable staff to help customers with any questions.

Bradley said they way they purchase products allows them to offer low prices at their stores.

"We buy factory direct and in large quantities. We have a huge warehouse down in St. Louis City. We stock up on inventory which gives us better buys," Bradley said.

Consumer can also find appliance package deals and "in-box" discounted appliances.

"We carry scratch-and-dent also, so we can compete with the hardware stores," Bradley said, but points out the appliances are still brand new. "They're actually blemished at the factory."

West County store hours are as follows:

  • Mon. - Thurs.: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Fri. - Sat.: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

I think Ellisville's Mayor Adam Paul HAS been reinstated UNLESS this is an appeal to a higher court.Read More The Ellisville council members Murray, Anglin, and Pieper, Acup, Perrillo and City Attorney Martin who pocketed $50K from Sansone to help get the deal done. On top of the $65K the City - us taxpayers - paid Attorney Martin to look after our interests. These members should be removed by petition vote by the people or the courts for conflict of interest. And if Ellisville Attorney Martin is reading this, you are there to PROTECT the City & Citizens of Ellisville ONLY, NOT give advice as how to ENTRAP Ellisville's duly elected mayor. You are NOT there to give legal advice to ANY COUNCIL MEMBER who is trying to entrap other elected officials. Ellisville needs a HOUSE SWEPT CLEAN of these council members Murray, Anglin, and Pieper, Acup, Perrillo and City Attorney Martin because of CONFLICTS OF INTERESTS AND accepting money from Sansone & Wal Mart agents.
