Ballwin-Based Business Bought Out by Nashville Co.

Pfoodman, owned by Ralph Pfremmer, has been purchased by Britt Hunt Co. of Nashville.

A Ballwin-based food service company has been purchased by Britt Hunt Co. based in Nashville, the St. Louis Business Journal reports.

Pfoodman, a self-described on-site catering management company, provides food for schools, senior centers and restaurants throughout the United States, including Lindenwood University, the alma mater of company founder Ralph Pfremmer, and Ballwin's , one of seven restaurant brands owned by Pfoodman.

According to the St. Louis Business Journal, Pfoodman formed in 2001 when Pfremmer bought into an existing food service company, which then grew its revenues to nearly $10 million by 2007.

The report said Pfoodman Senior Vice President Kevin Miquelon will continue to run the business, which will remain in St. Louis but operate as a separate company.
