Craft Beer Bar Could Be Coming to Ellisville

The Crafty Chameleon is being planned for the space recently occupied by Chevy's Fresh Mex and will feature at least 40 beers on tap.

West County craft beer lovers may soon have another choice of watering hole with reports that a new bar is coming to the former Chevy's Fresh Mex in Ellisville.

Called The Crafty Chameleon, the bar will specialize in craft beers. Owner and home brewer Jay Quezada told STLtoday.com's Evan S. Benn that he hopes to have it up and running by June if all the necessary approvals fall into place.

The Crafty Chameleon would be located in the Clayton Center at 1382 Clarkson Road and will follow the examples set by establishments such as International Tap House and Global Brew by offering a wide variety of brews. Quezada's goal is to have at least 40 beers on tap and 300 in bottles and cans.
