Crafty Chameleon Bar Ready But Waiting

Updated with information provided by Ellisville City Manager Kevin Bookout.

The Crafty Chameleon Bar won't open on the 4th of July weekend.

Dave Cislo, the Crafty Chameleon's Director of Operations, said they are just waiting on the Health Department's inspection.

Ellisville City Manager Kevin Bookout said the bar's inspection will be made by the County because the city of Ellisville does not have a health department. Bookout said that the Crafty Chameleon has all its necessary Ellisville approvals to begin business.

The bar will offer several dozens of various craft beers and wines displayed on one of two digital menus at each end of the bar, Cislo said. The Chameleon will also have a game room with couches, and tables near more than a dozen individually wired TVs that will allow each TV to show a different program.

Cislo said the inspection will be done hopefully in the next two weeks, and then the bar will open shortly thereafter.
