Dunkin' Donuts Opening in Ellisville This Week

The popular donut and coffee chain has slowly been resurfacing in St. Louis, this time at a location in Ellisville.

If you've driven by the intersection at Clayton and Clarkson Roads, you may have noticed the orange and pink sign pop up next to Orange Leaf in Fountain Plaza.

Dunkin' Donuts is opening in Ellisville.

John Nolan, manager at the Rock Hill Dunkin' Donuts location, told Patch the Ellisville shop is aiming for a Sept. 13 opening. Other than the Rock Hill store, the closest Dunkin' Donuts for Ballwin and Ellisville residents is in Kirkwood or at Lambert International airport.

When I was growing up, my family would stop by Dunkin Donuts in Ballwin every Sunday after church. My sister and I were allowed to pick our own donuts. We looked forward to it! I'm glad DD is coming back!

Thanks for sharing, Kathy! I actually had a dream about Dunkin' Donuts a few days before I heard it saw it was coming to Ellisville. I haven't been there since a Chicago trip awhile ago!

I love the dunkin donuts coffee, I grew up with dunkin donuts. BUT, Donut Palace beats out their donuts by a mile. I am also happy to see that a business is going into that shopping center. I think we need a Trader Joes in the old Straub's store. Lets get this town moving again with some businesses.

I'm excited that DD will have a drive thru and will probably stop by for coffee, but their donuts are not how I remember them. My families favorites were the Klunkers which they don't have anymore. I don't think anyone could ever beat Donut Palace, they're simply the best.

Not sure on the basis of the question. If anyone has been to any of the other locations in town all they are is another fast food restaurant with mediocre food at best. They can't even come close to the quality fresh donuts and great family atmosphere at the Donut Palace, especially when all DD has are reheated frozen donuts.

and I am still waiting for Mr. Frosty at Wendy's at Valasis Park entrance.....anyone know what is holding that up? I heard that they were building one in Chesterfield "as well"--will we still see it here in Ballwin?

I am very glad to have a Dunkin Donuts nearby. While their donuts selection is smaller than in years gone by, it still offers a great variety. The new sandwiches are terrific and their coffee is good and way less expensive than other coffee shops.

I have been to Dunkin Donuts in Ellisville twice in the service was terrible the first time the girl cut me off before I can finish my order , threw my donuts in my face snatched my money!!!!!!!the second time I went,I order half a dozen and 4 out of the 6 were stale I'm talking hard and crumbly!!!!! I will never return to Dunkin Donuts I'll stick to the donut palace!!!!!!!!

I think Ellisville's Mayor Adam Paul HAS been reinstated UNLESS this is an appeal to a higher court.…Read More The Ellisville council members Murray, Anglin, and Pieper, Acup, Perrillo and City Attorney Martin who pocketed $50K from Sansone to help get the deal done.
