The salads are the best I've had in the St Louis area, at any price - interesting and fresh, with many mixed greens and amazing dressings and additions. Pizza is top-notch with amazing crust and sauce. The specials (fig and prociutto, anyone?) are often great, sometimes strange. Only thing is we never order the large size pizza if we want a lot of vegies on our pizza, since the water from the vegies makes the crust soggy and all the vegies water down the sharp taste of the red sauce, too, leaving very little flavor. Stick with multiple medium pizzas if you're in with a crowd. The pepperoni is fantastic (and does fine on a large sized pizza)."
Adam K. said: "Excellent pizzas. Very fresh ingredients. If you're looking for a spot that has more "exotic" pizzas with goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, capers, etc., this is a pretty great choice in West County. I wish their crust was a little thinner, but that's a fairly minor quibble."

Scott Perdue said: "I consider myself a bit of a pizza connoisseur. I've tried all that there is to try around here, and I can safely say that alongside JJ Twigs' double-decker pizza, Dewey's is the very best around."
