See what local residents are saying about restaurants in Ballwin and Ellisville.

Welcome to the restaurant review round-up, where every week Ballwin-Ellisville Patch will bring you a sampling of reviews from around the Internet on a local restaurant.

Patch collected a representative sample of reviews below to give you a flavor of what local residents are saying. You can add a review of your own right here on Patch, or put your opinions in the comments in the section below.

From Patch:

Jane Herich gave it 5/5 stars and said: "Wonderful food and very friendly waiters/waitresses. Some of the best food I've ever eaten."

From Yelp:

Andrea F. gave it 4/5 stars and said: "This cute little Italian place has that great family-owned vibe. It is one of three locations (the others are in Bridgeton and Kirkwood). The food is your standard classic casual Italian fare, nothing super fancy. It's reasonably priced with easy-to-please dishes. The food tastes homemade. In other words, it's rich, thick and creamy...it's pretty darn good."

Dan M. gave it 5/5 stars and said: "One of my favorite Italian restaurants in West County. I love the tortellini.  Decor is tacky Italian. Service is excellent. It's a favorite of local, regular diners. The pizza is excellent as well. Italian beer is available."

From Urban Spoon:

Beantown Babe liked it and said: "A great neighborhood place to eat. Great food, great service nice ambiance. Even better now that the smoking ban is in!"

The "mom & pop" people are just using those familiar code words used everywhere aRead More Walmart is located in the U.S. It is all about unions and union sympathizers. The people that work there are happy to have jobs with advancement opportunity, but somehow their opinion doesn't count to the unions.

I think Ellisville's Mayor Adam Paul HAS been reinstated UNLESS this is an appeal to a higher court.Read More The Ellisville council members Murray, Anglin, and Pieper, Acup, Perrillo and City Attorney Martin who pocketed $50K from Sansone to help get the deal done. On top of the $65K the City - us taxpayers - paid Attorney Martin to look after our interests. These members should be removed by petition vote by the people or the courts for conflict of interest. And if Ellisville Attorney Martin is reading this, you are there to PROTECT the City & Citizens of Ellisville ONLY, NOT give advice as how to ENTRAP Ellisville's duly elected mayor. You are NOT there to give legal advice to ANY COUNCIL MEMBER who is trying to entrap other elected officials. Ellisville needs a HOUSE SWEPT CLEAN of these council members Murray, Anglin, and Pieper, Acup, Perrillo and City Attorney Martin because of CONFLICTS OF INTERESTS AND accepting money from Sansone & Wal Mart agents.
