Saleem's West to Air on Travel Channel

An episode of "Food Paradise" that features the West County restaurant premieres this month.

Foodies across the country soon will know Saleem's West as a destination for garlic enthusiasts. The Travel Channel's Food Paradise will air its garlic-themed episode "Garlic Paradise" that features Saleem's West April 24 at 9 p.m.

Film crews traveled to the West County restaurant last July to film a roasted garlic head eating competition. They then re-filmed at Saleem's in November due to a camera malfunction. The restaurant served a special garlic-themed menu for the occasion.

On April 24, Saleem's West will have a huge celebration and show "Garlic Paradise" on a projector, according to the restaurant's Facebook page.
