School of Rock Opens Off Manchester Road This Week
The performance-based music education program opens Aug. 1 in Winchester Plaza and is holding numerous events to show what the music school has to offer.

As previously reported by Patch, the franchise music store is moving in along Manchester Road and will have an open house for two weeks beginning August 1, and celebrate its grand opening on Aug. 17.
In a news release, School of Rock, which focuses on performance-based music education, announced the new location opens August 1, at 14560 Manchester Road.
This Winchester Plaza location is owned by husband and wife Scott and Sheila Rinaberger.
To kick off the opening, the school is hosting a series of grand opening events throughout the month of August so prospective students can see what School of Rock can do for them through workshops, master classes and jam sessions, the news release stated.
The school's after school music education program began in 1998, according to its franchise website, and now operates 100 franchise schools in several countries.
