Ballwin Days Festival 2013

Get ready for the most exciting Ballwin Days Festival ever! Festival admission is FREE and will be held in Vlasis Park~ Friday May 31st –Saturday June 1st- Sunday June 2nd.  In cooperation with Republic Services and St. Louis Earth Day, Ballwin Days is going GREEN in 2013!!

NEW in 2013!! Sneak-A-Peek ride only wristband event! Thursday, May 30th, from 6:00pm -9:00 pm. Wristbands are $20 for unlimited rides for all 3 hours!  This is a pre-opening event, rides and limited carnival food will be the only attractions open for Thursday. *Please note*- there will be no shuttle parking service available for this pre-event on Thursday.  Limited parking is available in the park across the street from the Ballwin public works compound, at the lower parking lot near the children’s playground, the tennis court parking lot, and in the Ballwin City Hall parking lot.  Absolutely no parking is permitted in the Ballwin Police Department parking lot, and NO street parking is allowed within the confines of Vlasis Park on Park, Kehrs Mill, or Seven Trails Drives.

Friday and Saturday Main stage entertainment brought to you by West News Magazine, features: Friday- Well Hungarians http://www.wellhungarians.net/ ; Saturday- Black Jack Billy (Nashville) http://youtu.be/3k3nKA5bt9c  and local classic rock legend HEAD EAST!!

Expanded Beer Garden featuring classic as well as craft beers and Lima-Rita’s (Grey Eagle distributors), and wine (St. Louis Wine Market).  Saturday’s beer garden entertainment features Banjos and Brass, a festive Dixieland jazz band! Sunday’s full line-up includes Loran Cavano and the High Road Kicking Things, Melissa Neels Band and Jeremiah Johnson and the Sliders!

Come and enjoy National Pop Singer/Songwriter, Shuree from 5 to 6pm on Saturday June 1st. FIREWORKS SHOW, brought to you by West County Nissan - Friday and Saturday nights at approx. 9:15.

Kids Korner- Saturday and Sunday noon to 5pm, with plenty of awesome free activities for the kiddos! Back by popular demand, Cadillac the Clydesdale!  Magic shows, jugglers, Babaloo, Rampage (Rams mascot), EVie (Science Center’s electric exhibit truck), Nitro Joe, Reptile Experience, World Bird Sanctuary, Elmo, complimentary balloon animals and MUCH more!

Pretty Baby - Ballwin Days 2013 marks the 33rd anniversary of the festival’s Pretty Baby Contest, an event that has provided over $67K for SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Health Center over the years.  Since the first contest in 1981, almost 2000 babies have been nominated for prettiest baby honors.  Visit http://www.ballwindays.com/Pretty_Baby.html for additional information and registration instructions.
