Catch up with what you've been saying on Patch, Facebook and Twitter this week!

Dunkin' Donuts was a hot topic this week in anticipation of the store opening in Ellisville. Apparently, lots of people were excited about it, but also are keeping their support to a local donut shop, .

Malissa Schreiner Snodgrass: "i stopped on the way to work, an early start! and guess what they didn't open till 9am!! sad start to my day"

ON TWITTER...

@kvnlargent "where will the DD be located? My 3 year olds twice monthly request for munchkins will be easier to fill now!!"

ON PATCH...

Lisa Size: "I'm excited that DD will have a drive thru and will probably stop by for coffee, but their donuts are not how I remember them. My families favorites were the Klunkers which they don't have anymore. I don't think anyone could ever beat Donut Palace, they're simply the best."

Michael Rhodes: "Wish Dunkin Donuts all the best. The Donut Palace has earned by business and I plan to continue to go there."

Donna Cunningham: "I love the dunkin donuts coffee, I grew up with dunkin donuts. BUT, Donut Palace beats out their donuts by a mile. I am also happy to see that a business is going into that shopping center. I think we need a Trader Joes in the old Straub's store. Lets get this town moving again with some businesses."

Members of the Ellisville Dog Park Committee celebrated their groundbreaking ceremony after a Pooch Plunge fundraiser in Bluebird Park Sept. 8.

ON FACEBOOK...

Rodger Cooper: "It is all about the Dogs. But I really would like to thank Dr. and Mrs. David (Sharon) Roberts, DVM, DABVP, for all their support. Ellisville needs to name a section of the park for them."

ON PATCH...

Michael Rhodes: "Was glad to see it will be fenced in. 99% of dog owners attend to their dogs. There is that 1% that will let them run up to anyone. I have a fear of an unknown dog and when running through the park I hate when a dog is on a lease and the owner is not holding on to it. You just do not know if it is a "nice" dog or not. Saw the benches were already installed when I went by there tonight."

Adam Quincy Paul: "Congrats to Councilmembers Reel and Anglin and all the Dog Park board members who worked so hard on this project! This project was funded entirely by donations and hundreds of volunteer hours."
