Ellisville Farmer's Market Season Kicks Off Friday Night
Find out how the "Taste Of The Market" event will benefit Rockwood School district children.
While usually a Thursday night affair, the Ellisville Community Farmers Market returns Friday night for a season kickoff event at Bluebird Park.
Activities get underway at 4 p.m. In addition to farmers, food vendors will also be on hand for what's being called "Taste Of The Market." A portion of vendor proceeds will benefit the Rockwood School District's Got Your Backpack Program which provides qualified students with food over weekends and holiday breaks.
Visitors can also bring non-perishable foods to donate directly to the program.

At 8 p.m. the film Wreck It Ralph will be shown at the park.
