Manchester Road Traffic Lights in Ballwin Upgraded

The traffic lights at the intersection of Manchester Road and Ballpark Drive in Ballwin get a flashing-yellow option installed Tuesday afternoon.

Electrical workers installed new traffic lights at the intersection of Manchester Road and Ballpark Drive on Tuesday afternoon as part of a series of upgrades meant to allow flashing yellow-lights.

Mark Rodell, general foreman for Fenton-based Gerstner Electric who was at the Ballwin site Tuesday, said work began around 12:30 p.m. and was completed shortly after 1:30.

Rodell said the upgrade is part of a larger project that started Jan. 1, with traffic lights being replaced throughout North, South and then West St. Louis County.
